These are the terms that govern your use of the Okupio platform. They're written to be straightforward, not to confuse you. By using Okupio, you agree to these terms.
Okupio is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for professional event management. It enables organisations to create branded event landing pages, manage registrations, run email campaigns, handle payments, and manage on-the-day logistics.
We provide the platform. You (the organisation) are responsible for how you use it, including how you handle your attendees' data.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@okupio.com.
One account per organisation. You may invite team members with different permission levels. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Okupio is a paid service. Plans are available on annual or monthly billing cycles. Prices are as shown on our pricing page at the time of subscription.
Annual plans are billed once a year. You can cancel at any time, but no refunds are given for unused months, except under our 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers.
Monthly plans are billed monthly. Cancelling a monthly plan ends your access immediately at the end of the current billing period. No data grace period applies — please export your data before cancelling.
We reserve the right to change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase applies to your subscription.
If you're a first-time Okupio customer and you subscribe to an annual plan, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied. Contact us at hello@okupio.com. This does not apply to renewals or monthly subscribers.
You (the organisation) are the data controller for your attendees' personal data. Okupio is the data processor. By using Okupio, you agree to process personal data lawfully under applicable data protection law including UK GDPR.
You must have a lawful basis for collecting attendees' data and must inform attendees about how their data will be used. Okupio's registration forms include a consent checkbox, but you remain responsible for ensuring compliance.

You agree not to use Okupio to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice if we believe there is serious risk of harm.
We aim to keep Okupio available and reliable. We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.
Okupio's platform, branding, and codebase belong to Okupio Ltd. Your event content, attendee data, and organisation branding belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over content you upload or create on the platform.
Okupio is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
